Well long story,but here’s what happened: I was playing MW3 one day,accidentally pulled my controller out of the socket,caused my xbox to move,and it made a big circular scratch on my game because of the laser reader. Anyway I looked up on what to do to fix it besides going to a game store and paying to get it buffed out. I tried toothpaste,rub it on,did NOT do circular rubbing motions as said,and in a straight outwards motion going OUT of the center. Well I cleaned it off,put the game in,and this time it actually let me play it for like 3 minutes then it will give me the message saying its unreadable (when its CLEARLY working fine,didnt freeze or anything at all) and took me back to xbox home. Well anyway to the point: I got my brother to take our hard drive to his friends house to install his copy of MW3 on our hard drive,he installed it,came back with it,tried it out,told me that I could only play the installed version on the console it was oringinally used to install it on. In other words,it would only let me play the installed version on his friends console which is complete bull. So the question,is there ANYWAY to bypass this,at all? Anything could help because I really don’t feel like going to Play N trade and buffing it out,or getting his friend to let us borrow his copy so we can install it on my own console.

I have some questions. I am a torrent user. I’m looking for info on all of questions.
1.) Would it be a good idea to use a socks5 proxy in the uTorrent client?
2.) Should I disable DHT, or should I leave it enabled? If I have too disable it for a proxy to work, how do I disable it?
3.) What boxes for both should I tick off, and what boxes should I untick? My guess was only to tick off the peer to peer exchange under the connection tab, but leave everything else on default?
4.) I know I have to do a port forwarding. I am using Comodo firewall (free). Should I port forward the proxy port into the firewall, but don’t forward the random port?
5.) this is the proxy site I have. It’s megasocks.blogspot.com. Are they both encrypted proxies, and connectable proxies?
I hope someone could answer all of my questions. Thank you!

In the older version on bittorrent, i had the option to tick the files that i want when i open a torrent file in it. In the new version however, the whole file just starts downloading without asking me to tick the content that i want from the torrent. is there an option somewhere to restore that facility?

I run a guild forum for a game and I need to know how to change, if possible, which information is edited in the small profile-type module that appears alongside a post.
Currently it just says this:

But I would like to add custom pieces of information (namely In-Game Name and Level) which could be added and customised through the main profile and appear in the mini-profile.
E.g.
In-game name: (name)
Level: (random level number)
Posts etc etc etc
If it helps, I use a TotalH forum and I’m not the admin, though he is watching this Question in order to hopefully get some answers.

well the other day i tried updating my droid x to 2.3 from 2.2 and i download two updates update part1 and update part2 and it wasnt working for some reason so i tried doing update part2 before part1 and rebooted my phone and it doesnt turn on and all it shows now is the red motorolla logo and then shuts off please help…

I noticed that one of the leechers left a comment saying what they did to get it to work, and I’ve been trying to follow them since my original attempt at softmodding my Wii didn’t work. I used ImgBurn to burn the iso to a TDK dvd+r at 4x speed. My Wii version is 4.3U. I downloaded Uloader (which came with the 5.1 version of Hermes’s cIOS), put it all on my SD card, and went to the Homebrew Channel.
I don’t entirely understand everything in the read-me files for Uloader and cIOS, but I think I got the gist… I first tried to install cIOS 222. As soon as I choose IOS 222 and press A, a green bar shows up saying “Reloading IOS 222″ but I know it’s not working because a line of text that was flashing before isn’t now. The text says “Must have dev-es patched to work” or something similar. My Wii just entirely freezes up. I tried this a few days ago and left my Wii on for literally over 12 hours, and it never changed. I had to unplug it to turn it off. Do I need to download something else (patches or something?) to make the cIOS installer install the IOS? Also, the read-me says not to have any Gamecube controllers or memory cards in the slots while installing. I don’t have any controllers, but is my SD card one of the old Gamecube memory cards? I wouldn’t think so, I couldn’t remove it while installing the IOS, since the homebrew apps are on there…… And I read some stuff about how certain Wiis just can’t be softmodded, because of the age of the drivers or the model or something. My Wii is not black, it’s white, but I might have gotten it after 2008… Maybe, I can’t remember how long ago. Do I need to look up my driver version? I just don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Can anyone help me, please?
